AAT Global

Wherever we work in the world, our approach is based on three key values.

Addressing skills shortages

We take a pragmatic approach to delivering skills, addressing those that are most in demand and delivering those skills through innovative, tailor-made solutions.

We set rigorous standards that are respected globally

Our professional qualifications and membership framework help people to compete successfully in the market. Individuals can develop their skills incrementally. We also support their continuing professional development at every stage of their career.

We deliver flexible, tailor-made solutions

We work in partnership with local organisations and employers to deliver training that addresses local needs. For example, in South Africa we help the Eastern Central and Southern African Federation of Accountants (ECSAFA) develop a framework to deliver technician level qualifications in the region. We also work with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) to support its Developing Nations Committee to create clear guidelines for training technician level accounting staff.

Accrediting organisations

Our qualifications are accredited as appropriate for the country or region. We are regulated on the awarding body side of our work by:

  • Ofqual - Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation
  • FASSET - Sector Education and Training Authority (Seta) for Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting and other Financial Services, in South Africa
  • SAQA - South African Qualifications Authority
  • SQA - Scottish Qualifications Authority.
