"I left university without completing my degree, having decided to follow my dream to become an actor. I really enjoyed it, even though the hours were long and the pay irregular, with no benefits. But then I had a family and my priorities completely changed. I wanted to be able to work consistent hours and needed a reliable income to provide for my family. I decided that I needed a profession that would give me a secure future, but I couldn’t afford to go back to college full time and complete my degree.

"I found out about the AAT and applied for a training contract at KPMG, as it seemed like the best path to take. As part of my training, I have worked across many different areas, and the wide range of experience has helped me put my study into context and apply what I’ve learnt. Studying for the AAT has enabled me to get a 9 to 5 job so I can be there for my family."
