Director of Professional Development - Adam Harper

Adam Harper has been Director of Professional Development at the AAT since February 2005, having worked in various roles at the AAT since he joined in 1991, most recently as Divisional Communications Manager.

Adam?s main responsibilities are to develop services to the AAT?s members, to ensure the quality and status of its membership and to promote recognition of the AAT as an international accountancy body.

In particular he acts as one of the AAT?s main contacts with government and the profession?s regulatory bodies, contributing to consultations that affect the legislative framework for accountancy. He also oversees the Association?s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme and all aspects of the AAT?s professional learning and development programme.
