Your AAT members are an important part of your business and at AAT we want to support you in supporting your members to become the effective and valued accounting technicians you need.

Our new employer accreditation scheme recognises employers with a positive and planned approach to the professional development of their AAT members, whether through studying for an AAT qualification or, once qualified, supporting them in their continuing professional development.

Becoming an AAT Accredited Employer will show your commitment to your staff and their professional development. More importantly it will provide you with a range of benefits including:

  • Full and fellow members will automatically meet their mandatory CPD requirements by following your organisation's training and development processes

Applying to be an AAT Accredited Employer

Becoming an AAT Accredited Employer is a straightforward process, with no costs involved.

To demonstrate how your organisation meets our accreditation criteria, please provide us with evidence of:
•    how you currently support the professional development of your AAT members.
•    any accreditation you currently have with Investors in People (IIP), or another body recognised by the  International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), including CIPFA, ICAS, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAI, and ACCA.
