Seminars and masterclasses
The Centre Development team organises a wide range of seminars, masterclasses and workshops for tutors involved in the delivery of our qualifications. These cover a wide range of topics and will keep up to date on the latest issues, as well as providing relevant and cost-effective continuing professional development (CPD). The events also give you the chance to meet and share experiences with other AAT tutors and are held at various locations across the UK throughout the year. Below is a list of forthcoming events.

June 2008 - These are half day sessions and cost £60 each
  • Thursday 26 June AM: Assessor update for qualified assessors, Nottingham
  • Thursday 26 June PM: IV update for qualified IV's, Nottingham
July 2008
  • Monday 7 July: Unit 10 update, Birmingham (Half day 10am - 1pm - £60)
  • Tuesday 8 July: Portfolio Building, Bath (£115)
  • Thursday 17 July: LLUK - What does this mean for you and your centre?, Birmingham(£115)
  • Friday 18 July: Exam feedback, London (This seminar costs £85)
September 2008 - All full day seminars are £120 each unless stated otherwise
  • Wednesday 10 September: Unit 3, Bristol
  • Monday 15 September: Unit 11, London
  • Tuesday 16 September: AAT in schools workshop, York (This seminar is free)
  • Wedensday 17 September: LLUK - What does this mean for you and your centre?, Leeds
  • Thursday 18 September: Unit 15, Oxford
  • Friday 19 September: Unit 8, York
  • Tuesday 23 September: The 80/20 rule - assessing sims under the NVQ pathway, London

  • Tuesday 30 September: Ethics, Bristol
