AAT qualifications are part of the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF), so you know they’re based on the most up to date standards. We’ll give you all the support you need to deliver AAT qualifications, take on extra students and generate additional income for your venue.

We offer practical and internationally recognised accounting and finance qualifications that equip students with skills they can directly apply in the workplace. These include

  • offer AAT UK accountancy apprenticeships at Level 2, 3 and 4
    (Levels 5, 6, and 8 in Scotland).
  • receive our personal and online support for training providers.
  • receive our dedicated marketing support to help promote AAT in your centre.
  • network with other approved training providers and share best practice.
  • keep your skills up to date with our continuing professional development (CPD) for tutors.

How to apply to become an AAT approved training provider

Email us with the following details about your centre to request an expression of interest form for your application:

  1. The full postal address, including postcode.
  2. The full landline telephone number.
  3. The website address
  4. A list of qualifications your currently run.
  5. Details of any other awarding bodies you work with.

Please note: without this information we cannot send you the correct expression of interest forms.

We will review your request and, providing it meets our approval criteria, send you a full application pack.Please allow two to three months for the full approval process.


Please note: To run AAT qualifications starting in January, please apply by the end of October of the preceding year; likewise please apply by May to run AAT qualifications starting in September.

 

AAT Access

AAT Access is our new short (12 week) qualification that helps students develop essential business skills, and grow their confidence.

It can be delivered in preparation for – or as a bolt-on to - Level 2 of the AAT Accounting Qualification, and it can be funded under the Adult Learner Responsive funding on the Learning Aim Database (LAD).

We will also waive the licence fee and support pack for any training providers who offer AAT Access in the first year.

AAT Access is made up of four skills and knowledge units:

  • Mathematics for accounting
  • Accounting in a professional environment
  • Essential accounting procedures
  • Creating business documents
