Clare was appointed to the newly created role of Director of Global Development in June 2011. She is leading AAT’s global development strategy, which includes exploration and testing of potential new markets and opportunities for partnership.

Clare holds an MA in Lifelong Learning and is committed to the concept of learning being at the heart of organisational success, both for the individual and the employer. She sits on the Board of Policy Connect and is also a technical advisor to the International Federation of Accountants' Education Standards Board.

Clare has formerly held the posts of both Director of Education and Director of Professional Development at AAT.
