Now that you've assessed your CPD needs and planned your activity, it's time to do it! This part of the CPD cycle involves:- undertaking your chosen activities
- recording the outcome of those activities to help you when you evaluate your plan
Recording your CPD
You should always keep a record of your CPD activity (whether it's with AAT or not). You can use this log as evidence of your learning progress for appraisals and job applications and to show to the AAT (or other professional body) for CPD monitoring.
It will also help make your CPD more effective. Regularly updating it will give you a timeline of your activities to help you reflect on what you've learned and adjust your CPD program as necessary to ensure that your skills are always developing.
