I have received a number of requests to run revision classes for PEV and PCR in or near Bristol/Bath
Whether either will run will depend on whether the number of students is viable.
The normal fee will be £65 per person per day (but very small groups may be subject to a supplement)
I have suggested the weekend 29 and 30 April
PLEASE NOTEsince I originally started this thread the days have swopped round
PCR is proposed for Saturday 29 April, and
PEV is proposed for Sunday 30 AprilAs an indication, for anyone seeing this for the first time
I put a limit of 10 on each day, so classes are small. (In exceptional circumstances this might be allowed to increase to 12)
The format of each day is 4 sessions of approx 1¼ hrs. These run from 9.30 to 4.00 (possibly 4.30)
We look at all aspects of the syllabus focusing on the needs of the exam.
I have changed my points regarding the likely content of the PEV and PCR exams and my updated comments are in the Dates for Revision Courses thread.
The PEV exam in June 2006 will be the first one written by Cliff Floyd.
The PCR exam in June 2006 will be the first one written by Alan Cull.
We use a lot of practice questions, not necessarily past exam questions. This will be particularly important as there may be some differences in emphasis in between the new examiners and their predecessors. This can help us to try to master the subject matter and ultimately pass the exam.
Cost is £65 per day (although fees for very small groups may have to be raised to make the day viable)
I will always keep you up to date as far as developments with any courses.

I do not recommend replying on this thread as there is a delay between posting and the reply appearing due to the review process
