Payroll course

Hi, don't know if anyone out there can help, my local college doesn't offer AAT payroll but does IAB payroll levels 2 & 3 instead. Does anyone have any experience of these qualifications?

Hi Suzie,

I'm just waiting for my Level Two exam reault which will be released next Tuesday. I have really enjoyed doing tihs qualification and am looking forward until September to start Level Three. One thing I have found out though is if I hadn't of been working full time in a Payroll Position I would've struggled to gain evidence for some of the Units. (Which some of the people of my course found this and have had to complete the Sims to show that they are competant in what they do.)

I would say go for it, some parts of the course are straight forward and don't take long to do but on other parts its that bit harder and takes longer to do.

The IAB course is only 10 weeks long, so was wondereing if it is at the same level as AAT? Have just fininshed technician and looking for some background knowledge, have been running payroll for 30 people for about two years, but would like the technical backup of knowing why I am doing things!!
