Does anybody know if you include loans when calculating the cost of control and goodwill?

Thanks its ok i'm pretty sure the answer is no.

Group accounts are a nightmare. Especially the ones where there are sub-subsidiaries, foreign currency, joint ventures, associates and all sorts of things to make you wish you had never been born.
