How's everyone spending the longest night?
I could sleep for a month, so every second counts!
Helen
It might well be the shortest day today, but I'm secretly turning back the clocking in machine one minute every hour to compensate, thus getting the maximum output from our workers.
There's no such thing as the shortest day here in our company! I'm nearly as mean as you Helen!

Ouch!
I am going to let everyone finish tomorrow night, so they can't really complain.
AND - I am the only one coming in next week, so I'm actually a very, very nice person!
AND (again!) - I am bringing food and booze in tomorrow, so they will all go home feeling very full and festive (except the ones that are driving, who will be feeling very full and sober)!
It may have been the longest night of the year, but for some strange reason my boss wasn't too happy that I tried to go to sleep at sunset...
Isn't it a cruel irony that they put the shortest day of the year just before the Christmas holiday so that it still feels like we're stuck forever at work?!
Humbug!
Robert
