DId anybody watch 'Consent' on channel 4 last night, it was on from 10 o clock to twelve?

It destracted my attention from my routine of CSI double bill and enticed me into watching it... It was a story about a court trial for a s3xual assault charge.

The case was made up and acted out by actors/actresses but the jury was a real one and they didn't know the case was made up for a TV documentary/drama.

The trial was cleverly done by the program in a way which it gripped the viewer like we were one of the jury... I got beat by the verdict, and so did the jury!

I swore blind it was not-guilty and all evidence and mannerisms about the 2 parties pointed towards the woman lying and the man in distress at being sent to prison for something he didn't do.

My verdict if I were to be in that jury was one of 'Not Guilty' and when the verdict was given and the final credits streamed up the telly, I sat with a slight satisfaction that I was right... then after the credits finished, a sub-scene appeared showing the man ebing told to stop and the woman having her mouth covered... I was wrong - I guess my question is to everyone firstly did you watch it and secondly was you right in your verdict?

Sorry J, I didn't watch Consent but I too was distracted from the CSI double bill, good taste there mate, by the film with a rather tasty Mathew Mc Hunky in it, I think it was called Contact. I started to watch Consent but I thought it was a bit slow to start with, and as I have the attention span of a gnat.......

Anyway, Prison Break tonight!!!!

Study? When there's television to be watched? Are you mad?

Well, you could be studying your new cash management unit Chris. Riveting stuff, isn't it?

Fortunately, I've just had my CMCC simulation signed off so that's unit 15 done for me now. Have now started PTC, PEV and PCR. Joy...

It would appear so. I think I'm at a disadvantage in that I control my own timetable.

Other things rise to the top and before I know it, it's gone 10pm and I'm just opening my books.

You mean you still have PEV & PCR to look forward to? Oh dear.

I sure do. Having said that, I do prefer the costing side of accounting to the financial side anyway and at least CMCC and DFS (hopefully) are now done and dusted!

What are you now on Helen and Chris?

I've completed Audit Procedures.

Took PEV in December

Doing DFS next and if I get my act together Personal Tax for June.

If I passed PEV I might push on with PCR for June too.

If not, then I will do them both next December.

Oh dear.

We're about half way through CMCC - skills test scheduled for sometime in Feb. Tutor wants to have it on the 14th but apparently some prople have other things to do that evening. Not me (sigh).

Then it's on to DFS. I like the costing side of things too so not looking forward to DFS too much.

Sounds like you've got the boring stuff out the way, Robert. I quite enjoyed PTC.

I hate costings. I nearly gave up AAT because of it.

DFS - I'm hoping that I will have a home advantage - but don't hold me to it.
