View Full Version : Email alerts
I'm not getting email alerts when someone replies to a topic which I've posted on :(
I re-formatted my computer at the same time that the AAT site was down, so I don't know whether it's something I've done or whether it's a problem with the site.
I've checked my profile settings and it's definately set up to send me the emails, but I'm not getting them.
Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?
Ta
Hi Jodie
I'm having the same problem!!! The odd email alert does manage to get through, but Helen (Baggybooks) has said that is when someone uses the old AAT website!!! Also the email alerts for private messages aren't working!!!
I think everyone is gradually giving up using the forum because of all the problems, I certainly don't use it as much as I use to!!

Hmmm, yes I've seen a couple of posts from users saying they aren't going to use these forums anymore due to the problems.
It is annoying given the time that has elapsed since these problems started. For a professional institute, they aren't helping their reputation if posters are abandoning the forums.
Jokes aside, maybe its time for an official complaint.

I had hoped that the work undertaken last week would be the final solution, but it appears not.
As I've posted elsewhere, 5th April created a lot of questions and queries and the Forum could have been a helpful resource.
It won't be long before the June exams - students will want prompt help and they might not look here for it.

My points exactly. With exams coming up students have the right to adequate resources - these forums are anything but adequate.
If AAT cannot provide sufficient resources for both students and members then maybe they should consider reducing the annual fees we pay.

well thanks guys. if the problem's not fixed by the end of april I'll complain about it, but right now there's VAT returns to crack on with...
