Can anyone tell me which format I should use for filling in the details section of the main ledger a/cs? On past exam paper answers the purchases/sales details are given as purchases/sales ledger control and vice versa but in the osborne books the book of prime entry details are given. :confused1:

i think both r correct, but it's better to follow AAT's answer, as it will ensure that u will be correct.
