Hi

I do not have any information on SBL but I can recommend you look at the unit 10 course companion by BPP. This book virtually spoon feeds you through the project and also has an excellent example project in the back of the book.

I also recommend that you specialise your project on just one area of the case. In my job I work in the purchase ledger so I chose this section of the case study to concentrate on as I already knew all about this area.

In the case study there may be a section of personnel and this could be linked into your project if any of the problems relate to staff working in the area you choose. For example if you have an employee who has been disciplined or sacked in the case study you could check to see if the legal procedures were followed correctly. An excellent website for legal stuff is http://www.compactlaw.co.uk/ but don't forget to reference your usage of this website.

I did my project over the summer through BPP. If you are also studying through BPP then you will have a tutor who will advise you on each section as you go along. My tutor was Ray Helliar and he was fanastic. I took about 4 weeks in total from course to submission to complete my project and passed it first time.

I'm currently working on my case study project and I'm struggling on putting all the information together. Does anyone has any information for the case study SBL or any other case study?

That's the one I'm doing but I've not started yet mainly because I have no idea where to start.

I suggest you read the whole case study and as you do list all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that you think exist. Then take just one section, for example, purchases section, sales section, or payroll, etc and look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for that section. This is a good place to start because then you can start suggesting solutions to problems that occur.

Yes, Thats the same case study, and the deadline is the 10th January 2008.
My project has to be submitted before Christmas holidays, so haven't got much time left.

I would also recommend you look closely at all possible Fraud issues - this seems to be a hot area at the moment.
