Hi

I seem to be having trouble learning the IAS definitions. I feel like it is information overload and nothing seems to be sinking in :crying:

I'm fine with the calculation parts of the practice exams but when I come to answer questions relating to IAS's my mind goes blank and I can't remember anything I have learnt.

I have written out summaries of definitions, read them over and over and tried answering questions on them but the information doesn't seem to be sticking!

Does anybody have any tips on remembering them?

I think I am probably just in panic mode and hopefully tomorrow the information will come to me!

Thanks
Emma

Hi, I struggled with this too but I ended up learning them through really daft ways - linking the number of them to one of the words in it and relating it to everyday things

It sounds stupid but it works for me!

Good Luck

hi i find that the best way to revise the IAS is using the notes provided to me by former aat students who passed dfs last year. if you give me your email address i will b able to forward these to you.
