Hi,

Hope this helps

Hi
You can claim loss of earnings if you are called up for Jury duty. The amount payable is dependant on the length of time you have spent "hanging" around the courts as its pot luck if you get chosen to sit on a case. As for the rates the court stipulates what you can claim which they explain when you are called.
Found a link that told me the answers!
for doing 4hours jury service a day you can claim up to
£29.98 for the 1st 10days
£59.96 for 11 days-200days
105.27 for 201days+
For doing above 4hours of service a day you can claim up to
59.96 for the 1st 10days
£119.95 for 11 days-200days
£210.54 for 201days+
also you can claim mileage allowences (if no public transport is available)

says it all there
Cheers for your help guys!
