editing/deleting posts

Just wondering how we can actually do this as on the help page it says there is an edit button by the post, but i cannot seem to see it.
Any help appreciated.

Laura, you should be able to see the edit button on your own post when you are signed on. Its between the report and quote buttons.

Hi Laura,

The forum will allow you to delete posts for a certain time, but once someone has replied or the time has expired they cannot be deleted. This is to stop confusing threads occuring where the first post has gone and several replies make no sense.

If there is a valid reason for a post needing deletion (breaking terms & conditions) then either I or one of the other moderation staff will be happy to look into it for you.
