Yes there is.
Tools, Letters and mailings, Mail Merge Wizard..
:001_smile:
how will word know what to import ????????????
the mail merge wizard will take you through all the steps needed, selecting where the data is, where it is to be put etc
ive tried it i must be really thick as i can not work it out.
any chance of a step by step guide ?
as ive mentioned at the moment its is simply the word letter template and the excel file with the address'ss, they are in no way linked and are just normal files.
firstly do i select - "use an existing list" or "type a new list" ?

Google is your friend and mine!
For anything Office based: office.microsoft.com
Use mail merge for mass mailings and more:

Red devil, you obviously don't see this as 'practice management and development!' I suggest you contribute to the forums in a more positive manner or not at all!

So sorry Dean. I hadn't realised that the principle of free speech wasn't applied on these forums. Cheer up man, what's the matter with you? It's Friday afternoon for goodness sake!
