CAN PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO WORK OUT THE FOLLOWING<BR><BR>LABOUR COST X AMOUNT BASED ON 70% EFFICIENCY<BR>WHAT IS COST OF 100% EFFICIENCY I SHOULD KNOW THIS BUT GONE BLANK<BR>HAVE CHECKED ALL TEXT BOOKS

X is 100/70 = 100% labour

Does this help:<BR><BR>4hrs x 100/70 = 5.71hrs at 100%<BR><BR><BR>to work it back:<BR><BR>5.71hrs x 70% = 4 hrs.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Is that any use to you? Hope it helps

It may not look right but I think I would agree. This is the same principle used for incomplete records when working out the profit - the trick then was to know whether it was markup or margin.<BR><BR>To make it more simple if 4 hours represents 70% efficiency simply divide 4 by 70 and multiply by 100 to find 100% efficiency = 5.71 hours.<BR><BR>Hope this makes sense in layman's terms.<BR><BR>
