Difference Between FRS & SSAP's

Hi,<BR><BR>I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but what it the difference between FRS and SSAP's?<BR><BR>I'm due to take DF (Old Standards) at the beginning of Dec so I'm studying like mad at the moment and I cant seem to grasp what the two things mean!!<BR>Does anyone have a list of the ones I need to know for this level?<BR>I'm using a few books and passcards but none of them seem to simplify it by just giving a list of their explanations.<BR><BR>Any help would be most appreciated!<BR><BR>Thanks<BR>Jo.

These are designated 'Statements of Standard Accounting Practice' (SSAPs).
