Can anyone offer advice on the study text available from BPP as opposed to FTC for distance learning as there seems to be a huge price difference between the two!

Dont forget Premier Training as well.

I train with Premier at home study and get on great with my tutor!
I can ring 9-5 and 12-8pm on 2 nights!! I can e-mail anytime and I get an answer back within 12 hours at the most!! Sometimes within the hour!
I sent in my portfolio units 22 and 23 and was marked and returned signed off within 10 days!!

Not many can say this about a college!!

Heard alot of bad things about BPP and FTC seem quite good from what I can gather!!

On my study Group FTC sent me practise exams and Skills tests to share with my group. So now I have Premier has my college and extra Skills tests to practise from FTC so I have the best of both worlds.

http://www.premiertraining.co.uk/

and my group is

http://groups.msn.com/aatfoundation

Hope this helps!

Amanda

Foundation Home Study Student

Hi Amanda,
I don't mean to be rude, but do you need to plug your MSN group on Every message you post? If this was the message board I use for non-accountancy things it would be regarded as spamming. I think we know it's there now!

sorry...

It might help if we could use THIS accountancy board to share documents such as those that help AAT Foundation students!!

I am not able to put Practise Exams and Simulations on THIS site!! Therefore I recommend others to my group so they can download the PRACTISE exams - The sort of things that help us PASS the exams - Practise, Practise and Practise is what everyone says!!!

Im sorry you dont like the fact I ask foundation students to visit my site and get the extra help they need!!

And if everyone knew it was there BY NOW then why is there members joining every single day!!

It must be nice NOT to need the extra HELP!!!

whoa, calm down there! I didn't mean to cause offence! - in fact I'm not even comparing the merits of this place to your group. I just wanted to point out that as someone who reads this board a lot I've just read about it rather a lot of times... It's just a message board etiquette thing, sorry if I've caused any bad feeling.
People come on this site for help and to see what other people are doing on their courses.........after Amanda kindly welcomed me onto her site i appriciate all the help she has given me and still does !!!!! if you dont want to read this site (which is clearly for help) then dont slag off someone that is very genourous in giving help to others !!!!!!

how can you expect people to calm down when Amanda goes out of her way to ALWAYS help others !!!!!!!

I hardly think asking someone if they'd be a bit more reasonable about making the same point in posts so regularly, and then apologising that I'd caused offence constitutes a slagging off.
Again - I'm not making any cricism of Amanda or her site as you imply - only what I thouht was just a small point about the number of links, which now seems well out of proportion.
Sorry again if I've got up anyone's nose. Let's just let this drop.

I hardly think asking someone if they'd be a bit more reasonable about making the same point in posts so regularly

Maybe you should mention this on the General Board!!

Im fed up of people asking for past Exam paper answers for free which you have to pay for from AAT!!! Why should I pay for them and others dont!!

Why does everyone ask for these answers - this is copyright when people are giving them out!!

So on that note - I will drop it and continue to help others and still recommend others to my site! Afterall most of the answers to the common posts on here are already answered!!
