not sure if i'm qualified to state this, especially as i'm only starting out in foundation, but i will anyway! I recommend using Osbourne material u will also need the workbook and u can also purchase the tutor material with answers to all workbook questions(based on sound advice from Dawn at Premier Training-thank u) I am currently working from the BPP but I have to say I cant get on with them- (like many students) so once i leave my center i pick up my Osbourne and everthing is simplified for moi. Hope this helps!!

I used Osborne for foundation, FTC for intermediate and a mixture of FTC and BPP for technician.

As Amanda said Frank Woods are excellent for double entry knowledge and practice as they give loads of questions for practicing and checking understanding. I found Osborne were excellent but we found that you couldn't purchase the answers to the workbook as they were for tutors only, maybe they changed that rule but I did that at college so could get them anyway. FTC and BPP I found were the best but found that BPP went into more than was required so if you could answer everything using BPP you knew you would pass!

Hope this helps

Annette

I passed Technician in June this year.

I would definately recommend Osbourne books. They are really student friendly.

I had BPP books for some topics and I didnt like them at all, they dont explain things as good as Osbourne do.

Where is the best place to buy Osbourne books? Does WHS or Water Stones? If so how much?
