I am on a Distant Learning Course taking my Foundation Year. As I am unable to provide work based evidence I have completed the Skills Tests. I am allowed to take two of these and I have failed both of them. Could anyone let me know what happens now. I have asked my tutor, who says contact the co-ordinator who hasn't replied to me. Have I failed the year or is there some way I can show competence? I got "competent" in my two assignment for Unit 1, will this help at all?

Thanks
You cannot pass the year until you pass the skills test, but there is no limit to how many times you can take it.

If you have answered alot of the questions wrong you will have to take the whole test again but if you have only 'not shown competence' in one or two parts then your tutor sholud be able to give you seperate questions covering these areas.

And if you tutor continues being stupid, ring the AAT and get it first hand from them.
