I can currently trying to answer a questions for extra criteria for unit 1. <BR><BR>The question is -<BR><BR>At present you find the filing system for documents in your department very inconvenient as you cannot find the information you need easily. Your manager has asked you to describe what you would like to see in an ideal document filing system. List and explain four characteristics of a good filing system. <BR><BR>HELP!<BR><BR>Can't find the answer in any books and i can't think!
There are 5 ways to file things but i only no 4<BR><BR>chornological- date order<BR>alpha numeric- a-z then number<BR>numeric- number order<BR>alphabetical- a-z<BR><BR>2 ways of keeping track on Filing<BR><BR>1. Paper Based- keeping record of whats in each folder ny keeping a record in a file <BR><BR>2. computer based- Using spreadsheets, have a worksheet on excel for each supplier or what ever you are filing, on each worksheet have what is stored in that file<BR><BR>Hope this helps you
