Hi Shelly
I'm in the same boat as you mate, I rushed through Foundation level and Intermediate level for the exams at xmas but didn't do anything to put my portfolio together on route. Cart before the horse springs to mind!!
I am distance learning and my tutor just says "get in in to her, or else" !!! No more help than that!!
Its the mechanics of putting it together is where I'm lost, If anyone can suggest where we could look at an example of how its done would help greatly I think.
Anyone got any ideas??

Paul T

Hey guys

The key to portfolio work is to do each module as your are studying for it, so that you do not get left with a whole lot of work to do.

At the end of each unit, you will take what the AAT call a skills test. To you and me it is a end of unit test. Basically this skills test covers 95% of the criteria you need to cover. (You should have recieved the criteria from the AAT or yoiu can download it from the AAT). On the back page of the skills test it tells you what criteria you have covered. So there wont be too many left after the skills test. If you tutor is good they will set you questions that will cover the remaining criteria.

If you need any help will any portfolio questions, please feel free to email me on sjbherself@yahoo.co.uk

I tend to find that the simulations cover pretty much all of the knowledge and understanding. So I concentrate completing the range statements whilst I am being taught the unit. That way once the simulation is done you have it pretty much completed.
