first job

Hi guys im currently studying AAT foundation and trying to get my first accountancy job. Its proving extremely hard as its a catch 22 , they want experience but how can you get any if no one gives you a chance. Im looking for ledgerclerk positions does anyone have any advice about getting the job, or do you think I should be applying for different ositions?

Try looking at agencies such as www.Reed.co.uk & www.HaysPersonnel.co.uk etc. There might be some vacancies in your area you could look at.

I was in the same position as you but i only got my job through my cousin. Ask around in your family or friends so they can recommend you. Most of the time Jobs determine on recommendations.

i am in a job at present in finance i got mine through a training company<BR><BR>most jobs in finance are advertised in agencies<BR>like people have sed on ere to try them <BR>also you could try contacting connections and finding out whether you can get an mod app in aat most training providers do this
