Frustrated Portfolio Frustration

Is anyone else getting peeved at the fact that it takes so long to complete the portfolio due to missing elements in the simulation!! Surely if the AAT set the knowledge/understanding and range statement requirements in their student pack, then all these requirements should be in the simulation? I have also heard a rumour that they may be stopping the portfolios next year, has anybody else heard anything about it?

The AAT states that the Portfolio can not be proved with 1 element of evidence, ie the Simulation.<BR><BR>Therefore by not covering everything it makes you get the 2nd piece of evidence to cover the Unit.<BR><BR>Each Unit must have 2 pieces of evidence / ways of testing!!<BR><BR>If you cant cover all the unit your college should be able to help!!<BR><BR>Amanda

Yes I have just read the attchement through this website on guidance to completing a portfolio. And yes I know you require 2 different types of evidence. But I'll be blowed if you can complete all the requirements with the simulation and one other test, it is near impossible.

Yes they are abolishing portfolios next year for technician - our tutor told us in september last year. Whether they manage to implement it, is another matter entirely!!<BR>
