Hi

Don't know how FTC is with AAT, but I am currently on my final stage of ACCA with FTC - Soton, and they have proven to be very good, but that is day release and not distant learning.

My advise would be to bug the lecturer with any queries that you have - don't be afraid to ask for support. I know the lecturers are 100% supportive towards ACCA students, and there's no reason why they shouldn't be the same with AAT students either.

I take my hat off to you for having the motivation to study (distant learning)

Good luck

B

Heya,
Ive not long since started the Foundation course either, but i have worked in accounts for about two years so i av a fair idea of what im talkin about... The only thing i can advise from my own experience is to, if your not already, try and look for a job workin an some sort of accounts team. It is really helpful, it put all the theory and writing into practice and makes it much more easier to understand. I dont think i could av enrolled onto the course otherwise cos it all sounds so foreign!
Good Luck with it tho!
Tracey x.
