Can I just say hello to everybody who I met at the above event, which I attended for the first time. I would like to say what an excellent weekend it was and how friendly everybody was. The Saturday speaker was hilarious.

Well done to all of the AAT staff who put their efforts into organising everything, I'm sure everyone will agree that your efforts were much apreciated.

I hope to see some of you at the AGM on Friday.

Best wishes

Henry

Whilst I enjoyed the CAN Event not so the location, the food, or the general slow staff service. Again Birmingham failed to inspire. Maybe I'm just spoilt but these things are important to me. I suffer from allergies and need total relaxation in a new environment. Rooms were not available to mid afternoon.. Saturday afternoon I waited a full 45 mins for lunch, then had a call of nature. On my return my only munched at meal had already been binned by the considerate but very slow staff. Sorry, I wouldn't recommend the Crowe Plaza but an evening in with The Fawlty Towers DVD, yes! it just didn't do what it said on the tin. Pity, because its not as though I have special needs or anything kind of exotic or off the wall. Lets hope the AAT conference booker's get some inspiration on the location front.
I would also like to say how much I enjoyed the CAN event. In fact I think it was the best one yet.

The AAT staff worked really hard to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel staff at dinner were very discreet in producing my different meal for which I was very grateful. I have allergy problems but don't like to make a fuss about it.

Thanks to all

Please do not misuse the forums. Sorry to be fussy!
Thanks to everyone for the excellent feedback! Maybe next year I need to take careful consideration for individuals with special needs.

Pics from the event will follow shortly!

Thanks again to you all
Well Neil, er, thanks for the pictures. However there appears to be a teensy weensy oversight. Do'h! Whatever happened to that handsome dude in the tartan trews that won the best dressed in your Casino Royale type theme night? Also there were to my recollection other prizes given out by President Bond. If you could run down to the chemist and develop the 'negatives' or find out if Blofeld has fed either them, or the missing pictures, to his white pussy, then 'we' would be much obliged. Nothing like an accurate representation of the facts I say eh? Looking forward to some more snaps of the evening. Totally predictable.
