I've passed my project so hopefully I was on the right lines!

I went about it from the view point that it realy doesn't matter what the system is you just have to try and explain how it should work, how it does work and what improvements can be made, paying particular attention to areas where fraud/error can occur. (when I say this it did take me about seven 'drafts' so I know it's not as easy as I make it sound.

I would say that key areas with raising sales invoices/credits are:
Goods have actually been purchased/delivered - info a/c have been given could be a false company and goods stolen by salesperson (fraud).
Wrong items could be entered on invoice, wrong sales price - error or perhaps salesperson giving incorrect discounts etc through error/fraud.
Sales invoices being raised near year end and credited in new year - fraudulantly increasing turnover etc (remember auditing).
Credits being raised for goods not returned - error/fraud.

Try to remember that no matter how well thought out the system is people will always try to change it especially if they are not fully aware of why they are being made to do things I put in a paragraph about explaining the system and the reasons behind it into the induction process for any new employees and training for exisiting employees whenever the system is updated.

Hope this helps.
