Exam marking

Very interesting.<BR>My sister in law marks A level exams (Sociology). <BR>She had to go on special training courses ect.<BR>She enjoys it and has progressed to being one of the people who checks the examiners marking.<BR>My sister in law also teaches A level Sociology I don`t know if that makes a difference.<BR>Who has approached you? Is it the AAT who you are qualified with or an unrelated group? Did they sat where they got your name from?<BR>It sounds interesting to me. Sorry I didn't make my self clear earlier.<BR><BR>I was approached by a colleague from another department who does exam marking for CIMA ACCA and AAT saying that I may be able to mark AAT papers as I am now a passed finalist as they heard that I was looking for a way to earn some extra cash while I am studying for CIMA. He accidentally fell into this as he is already a tutor for CIMA but was not able to help me in finding out if I am eligible to do it or not.<BR><BR>If anyone has any more advice I would really appreciate it as I am not really sure who I am supposed to ask if I can do it or not.<BR><BR>Shez

Hi<BR><BR>When you talk about exam maring do you mean actual AAT exams? If you do, these exmainers are appointed by the AAT so you will need to contact them.<BR><BR>If you want to mark skills tests, you will need the college/centre you work for to register you with the AAT as an assessor of the college/centre. To be able to mark skills tests, you will also need to have achieved the necessary assessor qualifications.<BR><BR>Neil
