DFS Revision help please

I am slowly ploughing through all the standards, but I am having trouble remembering the numbers eg FRS3, SSAP20. Is is really necessary to remember all the numbers, and if so, any tips for remembering them? <BR>Thank you

Hi Mary<BR><BR>Not necessary to remember all the references<BR>Some, for example SSAP 9 stocks you probably would remember.<BR>You are not going to be asked what is SSAP x all about.<BR>You need to be familiar with the underlying rules and principles because you will be asked to explain a point.<BR><BR>For example:<BR>Question: Explain how stocks are to be valued.<BR>Answer: At the lower of cost and net realisable value.
