Hi there,
How are you all doing? This is my first posting. I was having a problem registering until I checked my cookies and at last I was able to just today.
I will be sitting for the two intermediate exams(FRA & ECR) next week. Would be nice to hear how others are doing.

You really want to hear how I am doing? I am up to my ears in revision. My head should be spinning from it but I have been taking it easy and doing some Christmas shopping this weekend. I have ECR tomorrow and I can see either a late night tonight or an early start tomorrow. Good luck for your two exams.

Hi Jayne
Nice to hear from you. The most important thing is not to worry about it. They more calm you are, the more likely will you be to remember what you have aready studied and revised a number of times. One of the ways I do after revision is to write a summary of the main points in a chapter. Specially in FRA, you can write what you remember about the SSAPs, FRSs,etc. And also things you do in dealing with partnetships.

I also felt nice about ECR. Hope we will all get good results.
I will be going over few things for tommorrow. Have you managed to get to the MSN site for the after exam chat? I was not able to. I only signed in but that is it.

No, I did not get too log on to the MSN website on Monday after the ECR exam. I went to a neighbourhood meeting Monday night and since then I have been going out a lot. How was FRA? I am planning to sit that exam in June. Is it really difficult and are there certain topics which always come up in the exam? Anyway, Have a nice Christmas and good luck for the results in February. I read somwhere on the forum a tip for bringing earplugs into the exams. I might do that next June.

FRA was not too bad. Basically the format is one section on the sole trader and another on partnership. There were few changes but no big surprises. Interestingly there was no memo to write but a question with room for a set of short answers.
I read somwhere on the forum a tip for bringing earplugs into the exams. I might do that next June.
There were about 50 people in our room but fairly quite. I read on the forum that some of the exam rooms were very noisy. Better take a precaution.
