Hi Claire

I would have thought to be part qualified you would have to be an AAT finalist or have started a chartered accountancy course with someone like ACCA or CIMA. However there are no rules, even to the point you don't have to have any qualifications to call yourself an accountant. At least this was the definition I was given at college when this question came up last year.
