Can anyone tell me how i can change my user name on my account so my full name does not show or change to nickname please

I wondered that as well, but I don't think you can unless you see if you can register agian.

I would contact Julian for this. Also, it is not a good idea to use your real email address for people to send you copies of portfolios etc as spammers could get hold of this and bombard your mailbox with everything from men's enhancement pills to illicit drugs and what not.

Always use free webbased email accounts which can be disposed of at will when it becomes very public.

Or indeed you can use the forums' private messaging system if you really want to pass your email address on. Also xfsqpr's correct, you can end up getting spam if you post your email address on the public forums, so we do advise against it.

As to the username, no, it's not possible to change your username, so you would indeed have to set up as a new user. That's fine as the forums aren't linked directly to the other online account options.

Am I being dense here? The only link to people's profiles, so I can send a pm, seems to be in the 'last post' area of the forum indexes.

Hello Chris,
yes, there aren't many links to the PM system/profiles currently (it's one of the things have in the list to sort out). However, if you click on the "private messages" link next to "log out" in the top right corner, you can search on a username, or just type in the username you want to message. You need to be logged in to view the link.
