South Wales branch wins award
The South Wales Branch were presented with the 2007 ‘Best practice in the branch network award’ at the Best Practice Training Day on 30 June at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London. The branch have been innovative and extremely pro-active in promoting the AAT generally and also supporting local students, both by visiting colleges to promote the branch and AAT membership as well as running a highly successful student revision day each year. They have worked tirelessly to engage as many members as they can and have reaped the rewards by doubling their attendances in the last five years.
Free training events are an integral part of the support offered to local branch committees by the AAT. Several national events take place each year in addition to a series of regional activities. It’s a great way to help shape the AAT whilst getting involved in valuable CPD opportunities. Find out how to get involved at www.aat.org.uk/branches or just go along to your local branch!
