Affiliate membership

You automatically become an AAT affiliate member once you’ve completed the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting (AQ2016 standards). Affiliate membership gives you the opportunity to stay connected with us while you decide which professional status is most suited to you: full membership or bookkeeping membership.

If you’ve completed the Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting (Q2022 standards), affiliate membership will not apply to you. Your next step will be to apply for AAT full membership.
