WorldSkills UK 2012 winners

After battling their way to the final, the team representing White Horse Training Ltd won gold in the WorldSkills UK Accounting Technician skills competition.

Charlotte Parrish, Christine West and Matilda Morris beat 10 other teams to walk away with first place.

The final was held at AAT’s London offices on 19 May 2012, where the groups of AAT Level 3 students’ accounting skills were put to the test.
 

The following teams won also won prizes:

1st Gold - White Horse Training Ltd

2nd Silver - Total People Group

3rd Bronze - Warrington Collegiate

Highly commended - St Helens College

Highly commended - NECC Newcastle 

Just outside the medal places were:

5th - South Thames College

6th - NECC Newcastle 2

7th - NECC Middlesbrough  2

8th - Leicester College

9th - Yorkshire Coast College

10th - NECC Middlesbrough 1
