AAT supports FE and the International Market conference
Jane Scott Paul OBE, the AAT’s Chief Executive, will be one of several high profile speakers at this year’s ‘Further Education and the International Market’ conference in December.
Now in its fourth year, the conference brings together leaders in FE and will hear how training providers and awarding bodies, like the AAT, are developing long-term strategies to build partnerships. Competing for international students and understanding the demands of developing markets will also be high on the agenda.
The conference – which will be held on 1 December at the Hilton London Metropole – will also examine the operation and impact of the new Points Based System (PBS) on training providers and overseas students that wish to study in the UK.
More than 80,000 international students are enrolled in further education colleges each year and income from international students is currently worth over £50m a year.
