AAT students from across the country grabbed their calculators when the regional heats of the WorldSkills UK Accounting Technician Skills Competition took place throughout April.

More than 35 teams took part in the heats which took place at Northumbria University, Knowsley Community College, Halesowen College, City of Bristol College and AAT’s offices in London.

As a result of the heats, the teams who will be competing in the final in London on 26 June at AAT’s London office are:

• Proctor and Gamble
• North East Chamber of Commerce – Darlington
• North East Chamber of Commerce – Middlesbrough
• System Group
• St. Helen’s College
• Blackpool and The Fylde College
• Babington Business College
• Halesowen College
• City of Bristol College
• White Horse Training Ltd
• Bedford College
• Sussex Coast College Hastings

The results of the final will be announced on the AAT website w/b 28 June 2010.
