CIPFA drops AAT exemption fees
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) has withdrawn exemption fees for AAT members.
AAT full members are eligible for exemptions from its Financial Accounting and Management Accounting modules and, possibly, Taxation (if they have passed relevant AAT tax modules).
This would leave just ten papers – all of which can be completed within two years. The withdrawal means AAT students progressing through the fast-track route will now save up to £300.
The largest group of students that join CIPFA each year come through the AAT route. The withdrawal of the fees is for a limited period.
For more information on exemptions or becoming a CIPFA student, contact the CIPFA Student Recruitment team on 020 7543 5656, email or visit the dedicated AAT page on the CIPFA website.
