Benefits of student membership

Before you begin studying for AAT qualifications, you'll need to become an AAT student member.

AAT membership offers a range of benefits that will help you study, provide valuable networking opportunities and keep you up-to-date with the latest developments in accountancy – all of which can help improve your career.

Unbeatable study support

We have created an online study support centre that includes reading lists, past papers, guidance from assessors, access to lively forums and e-learning modules. In addition we have a dedicated telephone helpline to help you with membership issues.

Monthly magazine

You'll receive our free monthly magazine, Accounting Technician, as well as regular newsletters by email.

Help with finding a job

Our online resource centre provides tips on how to compile a CV and finding employment. And our job listings can help you find employment or an apprenticeship - you'll find details online and in our monthly magazine.

Valuable opportunities for networking

You can make valuable contacts, find support and attend useful seminars through our branch network activities.

Discounts, offers and NUS membership

You'll be entitled to a range of discount and offer as well the many benefits of full NUS membership.

Once qualified, apply for full membership

When you're qualified you can apply for full membership.  That means you'll be entitled to further benefits including the use of the letters ‘MAAT' after your name and the opportunity to progress further through our CPD programme.
