Bolton Business School
BS (part of Bolton Institute of Higher Education) recognises AAT for entry onto the BA (Hons) accountancy programme. The entry point of each applicant varies, but as a minimum BBS normally offer direct entry to the second year. In some cases exemption is available from all or part of the second year.

Holders of NVQ/SVQ Level 4 will be considered for direct entry to level 2 of the Accounting & Finance degree (available full- and part-time). Each case will be considered on its own merits, and students with knowledge gaps at Level 1 would be counselled and may be encouraged to attend additional classes in order to plug the gaps.
Applicants wishing to study for the Accounting & Information Systems degree would be required to demonstrate prior learning and experience in the Systems area.
Leeds Metropolitan University will treat the Diploma pathway qualification as being equal and qualifying for the same treatment as the NVQ/SVQ pathway.
