AAT was today announced as a partner in Trailblazer for accountancy apprenticeships.
The Trailblazer programme has been developed by Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) to give employers the opportunity to design apprenticeship standards to meet their needs.
The standards must work for both larger and smaller businesses, so the Trailblazer projects involve employers of different sizes, across different sectors. AAT has been invited as a professional body to ensure that those undertaking apprenticeships are able to get professional accreditation.
Commenting on the announcement, AAT Director of Education Suzie Webb said:
“AAT is very proud to be part of the accountancy Trailblazer. We look forward to bringing our years of expertise with working with businesses of all shapes and sizes in helping to develop accountancy apprenticeships for the future.”
