AAT celebrates success at Digital Finance Function Awards
17 June 2022

AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) is celebrating today after winning two awards at the Digital Finance Function Awards 2022.
The awards, organised by Generation CFO, were presented last night (16 June) at the Ham Yard Hotel in London’s Soho. This year’s awards featured 11 categories celebrating individuals and teams in finance and accounting who are using digital technology to help improve their business and careers.
AAT won in the Learning Event of the Year category for its Digital Decoded series, which was described as ‘exceptional’. Digital Decoded – a six-part webinar which took place in February and March 2022 – aimed to provide participants with practical understanding of how to capitalise on digital technology as part of their day-to-day work.
Additionally, AAT’s Chief Executive Sarah Beale won in the Influential Woman of the Year category.
Sarah Beale, Chief Executive, AAT, said:
We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Learning Event of the Year Award for Digital Decoded. It’s a great testament to the hard work and commitment of AAT staff that they delivered such an outstanding series of webinars, which provided real benefits to our members and students in adapting to a rapidly changing digital environment. The team fully deserve to be recognised for this achievement and their success shows that AAT is a leader in the profession.
“I was also delighted to win the Influential Woman of the Year Award. It’s truly an honour and a welcome boost to AAT as we move forward into the next phase of our journey as an organisation.”
