10 November 2022

This week, AAT’s Director of Professional Standards and Policy, Adam Harper, was awarded Fellowship of the Council of the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) by the Chartered ABS Council in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the work of business schools and the Chartered ABS in support of their mission to enable members to maintain world-class standards of teaching and research.
The CABS Fellowship is a prestigious award with only a small number awarded each year. Adam’s award was announced at the Chartered ABS Annual Conference running on 7-8 November.
Adam was Chair of the Chartered ABS CMBE (Certified Management and Business Educator) Professional Standards Board for three years, from the launch of the CMBE scheme, and through its inaugural years, helping to establish a platform to support the teaching community in business schools.
AAT Chief Executive Sarah Beale said:
“Maintaining a commitment to high standards of professionalism is central to all that we do at AAT. For Adam to have been able to share his experience and expertise in professional standards matters in support of the CABS’ new CMBE scheme is further evidence of that commitment.
“As an organisation we are passionate about supporting businesses, education and opportunity for all and we acknowledge the work that goes into this from the CABS. I speak for everyone at AAT when I say we’re proud of this recognition for Adam’s contributions.”
