AAT triumphs at Memcom Awards
29 May 2018

AAT has won a ‘Highly Commended’ Award for its work promoting the value of apprenticeships at the 2018 Memcom Awards, which showcases progressive work and communications success from professional and membership organisations.
The award, presented at a ceremony at County Hall, London on Wednesday 16 May, was given in the Best Social Mobility Initiative by a Professional Body category. Judges highlighted and praised the work AAT has carried out to promote the value of apprenticeships to individuals and employers, following the introduction of the apprenticeship levy in 2017.
Commenting on the award success, Andrew Williamson, Director of Marketing and Commercial at AAT, said:
We’re hugely proud of this success. Delivering high-quality qualifications for apprentices entering the accounting industry not only helps businesses and the economy but also helps tackle social mobility issues in the UK. We will continue to promote apprenticeships as a tool for people to both enter the workplace and upskill.
