Improving the curriculum and assessment system
Executive summary
AAT welcomes this call for evidence on improving the curriculum and assessment system. As a leading awarding body certificating almost a third of all UK accountancy qualifications, we are well placed to share a perspective on these important matters. For further information about any of the issues covered in this submission, please contact sara.doggett@aat.org.uk.
AAT is supportive of the curriculum review and believes it offers an important opportunity to ensure schools and educational settings are best placed to equip the younger generation with the skills required by businesses and employers to help address the UK skills gap, particularly in shortage occupations or professions.
